Producer Tanujj Garg who questioned if flights can resume, why can't cinemas, got slammed by a section of Twitter
Lockdown in India continues to go on to curtail the further spread of the novel Coronavirus. However, with our honourable PM Narendra Modi imposing it for the fourth time has eased out certain sections of the country. Earlier where all the means of transports were shut down, now the country will slowly open up its air route by resuming the air travel from May 25, 2020. However, this move of the government got producer Tanujj Garg irked and questioning them, if the flights can resume why can’t the theatres, keeping in mind the exposure of human being the same in both the cases.
He tweeted, “If flights can resume why can't cinemas? The exposure to each other is virtually the same in both cases. #SaturdayThoughts” Well this tweet of the film producer was slammed by the netizens majorly on the micro-blogging site, Twitter. Netizens slamming him mentioned in their tweets how air transport resuming back is a necessity and not luxury. One of the twitter users wrote, “First is almost necessity & the latter is absolute luxury.” Yet another Twitter wrote how people from film fraternity were the first ones to rant when liquor shops were opened midst of the lockdown.
